MY STORY
I am a psychologist who currently practices in NC and PA. I was raised in Philadelphia, PA, but ventured to Arizona for college and graduated with a BA in Psychology, Summa Cum Laude, from Northern Arizona University. For most of my life, I have also been a dancer and, before going on to graduate school for psychology, I studied dance at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, performed, and taught for several years. As a psychologist and a dancer, my practice has been strongly influenced by a mind-body connection. I earned a Masters degree from Teachers College, Columbia University in Health and Behavior Studies and a Doctorate in Psychology from Rutgers University. Recently, I have expanded my skills to meet the needs of many clients who have suffered from trauma in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic and other major tragedies that have faced our country. I am an EMDRIA-trained clinician. I love to work with people and have great compassion for their diversity and experiences. In my work, I am compassionate and dedicated to reducing the suffering of others. In my free time, I enjoy gardening and spending time with my daughter and our pets.
FEES & INSURANCE
I do not accept insurance, but do offer a sliding scale fee that ranges from $150-$225 per clinical hour. I leave room in my schedule for a limited number of individuals who cannot afford the regular self-pay rate. While I am not currently accepting insurance, it may be possible for you to submit receipts to your insurance provider for reimbursement.
LOCATION
Currently, all sessions with clients in NC and PA are taking place via a HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform due to the Covid-19 emergency.
